Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Kennedy's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Kennedy unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Linn-Mar Lions by a score of 67-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered since January 3rd.

Kennedy's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4. As for Linn-Mar, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Kennedy will take on Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Linn-Mar, they will be playing at home against Prairie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Linn-Mar knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Prairie likes a good challenge.
