Volleyball Recap: Raby Comes Up Short

Raby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Collins Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Collins scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17.

Raby's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Collins, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Raby will head out to take on Kelvyn Park at 5:00 a.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Collins, they will challenge Orr at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
