Baseball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Marietta lost against Cambridge back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Cambridge, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marietta will head out to square off against Parkersburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last six games the Big Reds have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cambridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Martins Ferry at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
