Recap: Sebring Blue Streaks vs. Westwood Panthers

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Sebring Blue Streaks had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 48-0 win over Westwood. Considering Sebring has won seven games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sebring was led to victory by Nick Rowe and Travis Kerney. Rowe rushed for 92 yards on only 11 carries, while Kerney rushed for 114 yards on only 12 carries.

The win was the sixth in a row for Sebring, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points per game. As for Westwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Sebring will head out on the road to face off against Eau Gallie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eau Gallie will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
