Softball Recap: Burton Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Burton's offense. They came up short against the Lincoln Mustangs on Thursday, falling 19-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Pumas in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Burton's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burton will face off against rival Balboa at 3:30 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to challenge their familiar foe Lowell at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
