Volleyball Recap: Fallbrook Beats Point Loma for Their Third Straight Victory

Fallbrook had won two straight games and Jason Fuentes did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Fallbrook Warriors were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Point Loma Pointers which was due in part to Fuentes, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs he has posted over his last four contests.

Fallbrook never let Point Loma on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-15.

Fallbrook's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Point Loma, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Fallbrook will be taking part in a tournament against School for Entrepreneurship & Technology at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Point Loma, they are taking a road trip to take on Santa Fe Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
