It's playoff time, and Hilldale had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Clinton Red Tornadoes 2-1. The victory was nothing new for Hilldale as they're now sitting on 17 straight.

Brody Haraway and Valente Espinosa scored both of Hilldale's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Hilldale's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine games. As for Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Hilldale will take on Bethany on Tuesday. Bethany will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hilldale surely won't give up without a fight. Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
