Softball Recap: Mainland Regional Takes a Loss

Mainland Regional fell victim to St. Joseph and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Wildcats. The Mustangs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Mainland Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for St. Joseph, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mainland Regional is set to face off against their familiar foe Millville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph will square off against rival Cedar Creek on Wednesday. The timing is sure in the Wildcats' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Pirates have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
