Volleyball Recap: Northside - Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Northside - Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Dixon Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Northside - Jacksonville was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Dixon's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.

Madyson Wills paced Northside - Jacksonville's offense, picking up ten kills. Wills got some help from Sa'Niyah Serrano and her 11 assists.

Northside - Jacksonville's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Dixon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Northside - Jacksonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Swansboro on the 7th. As for Dixon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Richlands on the 7th.
