Football Game Preview: South Fulton Red Devils vs. West Carroll War Eagles

The South Fulton Red Devils will head out to square off against the West Carroll War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Fulton's defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so West Carroll's offense will have their work cut out for them.

South Fulton's last matchup with Dresden could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Red Devils were beaten by the Lions 51-14. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Red Devils, who until this game were averaging 14.78 points allowed.

Meanwhile, West Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost to Liberty Tech Magnet at home by a 28-12 margin.

West Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for South Fulton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

South Fulton and West Carroll were almost perfectly matched up when the teams last played back in September of 2022, but South Fulton suffered an agonizing 49-48 loss. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
