Basketball Recap: Hydaburg Comes Up Short

Hydaburg lost to Klawock on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors fell 50-40 to the Chieftains. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Connor Bagby had a dynamite gamefor Klawock, dropping a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Bagby is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Raymond Fairbanks was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten boards.

Hydaburg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Klawock, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hydaburg and Klawock will both be playing Angoon the next time they take the court. The Chieftains will host the Eagles on Wednesday, while the Warriors will host them on Friday.
