Volleyball Recap: Walsh Comes Up Short

Walsh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-21.

Averi Kunselman paced Walsh's offense, picking up five kills. Kunselman got some help from Ava Alley and her ten assists. Finally, Kunselman was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Walsh's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4.

Walsh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hi-Plains at 11:00 a.m. on the 8th.
