Deseret Peak unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grantsville Cowboys on Monday.

Deseret Peak wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 8-0 defeat against Timpview on the 5th. As for Grantsville, they have also already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Stansbury on the 6th.
