Basketball Recap: Noah Mueller's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Temple Baptist Academy over Cedar View Christian

Temple Baptist Academy lost against Cedar View Christian back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Temple Baptist Academy Royal Crusaders took a 42-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar View Christian Seahawks. The match marked the Royal Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Royal Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Mueller, who went 9 of 22 on his way to 21 points. That was a full 58.3% of Temple Baptist Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Weber, who put up ten points and seven rebounds.

Temple Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cedar View Christian, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

Temple Baptist Academy will take on Clayton-Bradley Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Temple Baptist Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.2 points per game this season. As for Cedar View Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Berean Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025.
