Volleyball Game Preview: Arroyo Grande Eagles vs. Atascadero Greyhounds

The Arroyo Grande Eagles will take on the Atascadero Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atascadero took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Arroyo Grande, who comes in off a win.

Arroyo Grande not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Righetti. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Arroyo Grande was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Atascadero was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against San Luis Obispo, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-18.

Atascadero's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Arroyo Grande, their win bumped their record up to 21-15.

Everything went Arroyo Grande's way against Atascadero in their previous matchup back in March, as Arroyo Grande made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
