Basketball Recap: Hillsboro-Deering Gets the Win

Hillsboro-Deering's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 win over the Raymond Rams. That's more bragging rights for the Hillcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Hillsboro-Deering back to even at 2-2. As for Raymond, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsboro-Deering will venture away from home to square off against Fall Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fall Mountain will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hillsboro-Deering surely won't give up without a fight. As for Raymond, they will head out on the road to challenge Epping at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
