Cameron waltzed into their matchup  on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the WestSide Renegades as they made off with  a  9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won six contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Wes Starcher made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits over seven innings pitched. Starcher was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  doubles  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Zayde Long was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dane Dalesio, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI and one  run.
Cameron's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-7. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for WestSide, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record  this season.
 Cameron will welcome Paden City  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Dragons are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for WestSide, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Greater Beckley Christian  at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Renegades' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 6.8  runs per game this season.
