Volleyball Recap: Birdville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Prestonwood Christian on Saturday, Birdville came back down to earth. The Hawks came up short against the Flower Mound Jaguars on Saturday, falling 3-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Birdville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Flower Mound, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

The future could be bright for both Birdville and Flower Mound: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Hawks will try to hand Martin their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Flower Mound will look to extend Rockwall's four-game losing streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
