Baseball Recap: Nashville Christian Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Nashville Christian and Donelson Christian Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles came up short against the Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 14-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Nashville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Donelson Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nashville Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Ezell-Harding Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Donelson Christian Academy will face off against rival Goodpasture Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
