Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denver West). They really took it to the KIPP Denver Collegiate White Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-25 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cowboys considering their 19-point performance the matchup before.

Denver West's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shukri Hussein, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave Hussein a new career-high in assists (five). Another player making a difference was Marilyn Vega, who dropped a double-double on 13 rebounds and 12 steals.

When it comes to explaining why KIPP Denver Collegiate lost, don't look at Shaila Ramirez. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. Ramirez continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The victory snapped Denver West's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7 record. As for KIPP Denver Collegiate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
