Football Recap: Major Mcbath Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Bloomingdale

Bartow's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Bloomingdale Bulls with a 35-29 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Yellow Jackets considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Bartow's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Major McBath, who picked up 111 receiving yards and one score. McBath's longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards. Jakobie Terry also helped out with an impressive 92 receiving yards.

Bartow didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ladarrian Adams and Jaziah Battle. Another thorn in Bloomingdale's side was Caleb Bell, who picked up four sacks and made seven total tackles (6.0 for loss).

The win got Bartow back to even at 3-3. As for Bloomingdale, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Bartow has already played their next game, a 7-6 defeat against Lake Gibson on the 3rd. As for Bloomingdale, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-15 loss against Berkeley Prep on the 3rd.
