Basketball Recap: Somerset Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Somerset was the 65-51 winner over Eau Claire North when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Somerset Spartans fell 55-44 to the Eau Claire North Huskies on Tuesday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Somerset's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3. As for Eau Claire North, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Somerset will venture away from home to square off against St. Croix Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Croix Central will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Somerset surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eau Claire North, they will be home for the holidays to greet New Richmond at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
