Baseball Recap: Regis Jesuit Comes Up Short

Regis Jesuit and Cherry Creek squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Regis Jesuit had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bruins, falling 8-1. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Christian Lopez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Regis Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Cherry Creek, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 23-5-1.

While Regis Jesuit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
