Preview: Dupo Tigers vs. Lebanon Greyhounds
Dupo is 9-1 against Lebanon since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Dupo Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Lebanon Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. Dupo is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Dupo suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 47-16 loss at the hands of La Salette Academy. Dupo was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-4.
Meanwhile, Lebanon scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They walked away with a 72-64 win over Sandoval. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Dupo's loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-11. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.6 points per game. As for Lebanon, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.
Dupo was taken down by Lebanon 61-33 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Dupo was down 36-14.
