After flying high against Soroco last Saturday, Rangely came back down to earth. The Rangely Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 62-61 to the Meeker Cowboys. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cowboys recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Rangely lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Marcos Quintana, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. Quintana is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Landon Bollinger, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
