Eureka came into this matchup off a tough seven-run defeat last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Del Norte Warriors by a score of 9-7 on Wednesday. Even though they lost, the Loggers' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Bailey Brown and Macy Secor stepped up to the plate in a big way. Brown went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double, while Secor went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
This is the second loss in a row for Eureka and nudges their season record down to 9-12. As for Del Norte, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
