Basketball Recap: Richland Springs Comes Up Short

If Richland Springs was feeling good fresh off their 71-47 takedown of Brookesmith last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Richland Springs Coyotes fell 34-26 to the Zephyr Bulldogs on Friday. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Richland Springs' loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Zephyr, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cross Plains the next time they take the court. Zephyr will host Cross Plains at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Richland Springs will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
