Basketball Recap: Star-Spencer Takes a Loss

Star-Spencer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 82-41 defeat at the hands of the Northwest Classen Knights. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 429th, while the Knights are ranked 162nd).

Star-Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Northwest Classen, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5.

Star-Spencer will head out to face off against Crooked Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crooked Oak is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.2 points per game this season. As for Northwest Classen, they will challenge Edmond North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
