Midlothian came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Matoaca, but Kailah Carter wouldn't allow it. The Matoaca Warriors strolled past the Midlothian Trojans with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 54-37 thanks in part to Carter, who went 8-for-11 to rack up 24 points and four steals. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Richardson, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 14 points and six steals. She has become a key player for Matoaca: the team is undefeated when she posts at least five steals, but 8-10 otherwise.

Matoaca's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Midlothian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Coming up, Matoaca will head out to square off against L.C. Bird at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. L.C. Bird will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Matoaca surely won't give up without a fight. Midlothian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
