Recap: Green Mountain Rams vs. D'Evelyn Jaguars
The Green Mountain Rams can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 87-65 margin over D'Evelyn. The win was familiar territory for Green Mountain who now have four in a row.
Austin Beeson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Ameer Dowdell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, D'Evelyn still got an impressive performance from Taj Kumar, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Liam Smith, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Green Mountain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for D'Evelyn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
Green Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Standley Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Green Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 20 contests -- so hopefully Standley Lake likes a good challenge. As for D'Evelyn, they and Golden will face off at 11:30 a.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. D'Evelyn has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 252 points over their last four matches.
