Football Recap: Eastern Eagles vs. Miller Falcons
Eastern took care of business in their home opener on Friday (barely). They won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Miller Falcons 34-33. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Miller lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Logan Doughty, who rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown.
Eastern is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastern is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season. As for Miller, they will face off against Frontier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
