Basketball Recap: Benton Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

After losing to Lafayette the last time they met, Benton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Benton Cardinals took down the Lafayette Fighting Irish 51-36 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Benton pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lafayette, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 16-6.
