Football Recap: Cornersville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Cornersville was feeling good fresh off their 36-6 takedown of Perry County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs were dealt a 52-15 loss at the hands of the Fayetteville Tigers on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Hayden Cherry threw for 41 yards. Cameron Fitzpatrick was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards. On the ground, Hunter Uland rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown.

Fayetteville can attribute much of their success to Fernando Leslie, who rushed for 32 yards and one TD, and also caught one score.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cornersville fell to 3-1. As for Fayetteville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
