Soccer Game Preview: Glenelg vs. Mt. Hebron

Glenelg is 1-7-1 against Mt. Hebron since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Gladiators will welcome the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Glenelg will be strutting in after a victory while Mt. Hebron will be coming in after a loss.

Glenelg barely beat Marriotts Ridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gladiators were the clear victors by a 6-3 margin over the Mustangs on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Glenelg, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mt. Hebron had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Broadneck back in September, falling 4-1.

Glenelg's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Mt. Hebron, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Glenelg beat Mt. Hebron 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will the Gladiators repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
