Baseball Recap: Salem Generals vs. Lake George Lakers
Salem lost a close one when they played last Monday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They suffered a tough 10-4 defeat at the hands of the Lake George Lakers. Salem has struggled against Lake George recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Brayton Cary led a balanced group of hitters, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Isaiah Lohret was another key contributor, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and an RBI.
Salem now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lake George, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Salem will head out on the road to square off against North Warren Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake George, they will take on Hadley Luzerne at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
