Basketball Recap: Manteca Comes Up Short

Manteca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Union Lancers. The contest marked the Buffaloes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Manteca's record is now 12-16. As for East Union, their win bumped their record up to 15-12.

Manteca does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Union, they will square off against Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Twelve Bridges knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully East Union likes a good challenge.
