Basketball Game Preview: Kingwood Park Panthers vs. West Fork Gators

Having just played yesterday, the Kingwood Park Panthers will get right back to it and host the West Fork Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kingwood Park has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Thursday, Kingwood Park needed a bit of extra time to put away Crosby. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-59 win over the Cougars.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Fork, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 49-48 victory over Splendora. The win was some much needed relief for the Gators as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kingwood Park pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for West Fork, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Kingwood Park came out on top in a nail-biter against West Fork in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, sneaking past 50-48. Does Kingwood Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Fork turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
