Volleyball Recap: Grafton Comes Up Short

Grafton lost against Westborough back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gators fell 3-1 to the Rangers. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grafton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-13.

Grafton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Westborough, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grafton will challenge rival Wachusett Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Westborough is set to take on their familiar foe Algonquin Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
