Volleyball Game Preview: Conant Cougars vs. Prospect Knights

The Conant Cougars will venture away from home to square off against the Prospect Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Conant is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Conant had taken Lake Park down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Prospect sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Deerfield on Monday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Prospect who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 15-25, 25-13.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Prospect, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
