Baseball Game Preview: Rigby Trojans vs. Thunder Ridge Titans

For the second straight game, Rigby will face off against Thunder Ridge. The Trojans will welcome the Titans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Rigby came out on top against Thunder Ridge on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Trojans walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Titans.

Kace Stapleton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on DJ Boudrero, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bentley Brower, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Rigby's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13. As for Thunder Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
