Basketball Recap: Augusta Falls Short of Simms in the Playoffs

Augusta and Simms squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Augusta had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Simms Tigers by a score of 36-33. The Elks have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Simms, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

As of now, neither Augusta nor Simms have any future games scheduled.
