Basketball Game Preview: McMahon Senators vs. Trumbull Eagles

McMahon hasn't had much luck against Trumbull recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The McMahon Senators will look to defend their home court against the Trumbull Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

McMahon is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Staples on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. McMahon lost 63-42 to Staples. The Senators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-17.

Meanwhile, Trumbull was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-37 heartbreaker at the hands of Notre Dame Prep. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one point.
