 The Manokotak Lynx can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Koliganek 83-39 on the road. The  victory was nothing new for Manokotak as they're now sitting on eight straight.
 Manokotak was led to victory by  Jesslynn Logusak and  Kelisha Gloko.  Logusak  scored 26 points, while  Gloko  scored 35 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Gloko has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Vicki Paul, who  scored 14 points.
 Koliganek lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Whitney Andrew, who  scored 18 points. It was the first time this season that  Andrew  scored 15 or more points.  Kasia Barnes was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points.
 Manokotak pushed their record up to 12-2 with that  victory, which was their seventh straight  on the road. As for Koliganek, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
 Manokotak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Koliganek, they won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Chief Ivan Blunka at 11:30  a.m.  on February 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Alaska (Koliganek is ranked 97th, while Chief Ivan Blunka is ranked 94th).
