Baseball Recap: Sidwell Friends Comes Up Short

Sidwell Friends lost against St. Albans back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Quakers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Quakers have lost by just one run.

Sidwell Friends' loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for St. Albans, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-12.

Coming up, Sidwell Friends will take on Gonzaga at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. Albans, they will square off against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
