Cam Johnson Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Cam Johnson's big game helped extend Corvian Community's winning streak to seven on Friday. Johnson was excellent, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (103.9) per game. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.

AJ Jackson Jr.'s big game helped extend Corvian Community's winning streak to seven on Friday. Jackson Jr. did his part (and then some), rushing for 56 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 197 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes for the 'W'.

On the season, Jackson Jr. has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 107.4 passing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Alex Waterfield Leads Bishop Mcguinness over Pine Lake Prep

On Friday, Bishop McGuinness got the W thanks in part to Alex Waterfield playing the best football he has all season. Waterfield threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards.

If history really does repeat itself, Waterfield might just drop another big game when he faces off against Mountain Island Charter on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Waterfield saw the Raptors), he threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 124 yards.

While Johntay Gaither delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Pine Lake Prep. Despite the defeat, Gaither was still balling out as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass.

For the year, Gaither has averaged 31.1 receiving yards per game.

Community School of Davidson Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Oliver Morris

Community School of Davidson picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Oliver Morris. Morris did his part (and then some), picking up 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. He is becoming a predictor of Community School of Davidson's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

This year, Morris has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 46.6 receiving yards per game.
