There's no place like home for Union County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past the Monroe Central Golden Bears 3-2. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Union County's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Coleton Wicker, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
