Softball Recap: Homewood-Flossmoor Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Homewood-Flossmoor was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 8-2 to the Lockport Porters. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Porters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in April.

Homewood-Flossmoor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skylar Skinner, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Homewood-Flossmoor has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Lockport, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-9.

Homewood-Flossmoor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lockport, they have already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Andrew on the 22nd.
