Football Recap: Foothill's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beckman, Foothill was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Dana Hills Dolphins a 6-0 shutout. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lili Reid looked great while leading her team to the win, throwing for 176 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 82 yards. Those 82 rushing yards gave her a new career-high.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Dana Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Foothill will challenge Godinez Fundamental at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dana Hills, they will face off against Irvine at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dolphins are facing the Vaqueros at the right time seeing as the Vaqueros are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
