Basketball Recap: Wilkinson County Comes Up Short

Wilkinson County lost against West Lincoln on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wilkinson County Wildcats were outmatched by the West Lincoln Bears and fell 54-5. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-5.

D'Yonna McCoy was Wilkinson County's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Wilkinson County's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for West Lincoln, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 19-4.
