The home team had won the previous three meetings between Delta and Crested Butte, and Delta kept the tradition alive. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Titans 2-1. This was payback for Delta, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.
